Larry
is a native of Houston, Texas, a married father of
four children
and grandfather of four. He is a 6,000+ hour, multi
engine, instrument rated, private pilot who has been
flying since
soloing at 16 years of age and obtaining his pilot’s
license at 17 years of age.
Larry followed a yearning involving his love of aviation
and started selling Piper aircraft in 1977 for the
local Piper dealership in Houston at the time.
He learned his
craft in the Piper sales system in Houston through
1982. During this tenure, he completed a multitude
of advanced
professional sales / marketing training courses provided
by Piper, as well as completing pilot training for
specific aircraft, such as the Piper Navajo Chieftain.
Beginning
in 1982 through 1993, Larry founded and operated
a highly specialized consulting business serving
aircraft finance
and banking institutions around the country, offering
multiple services including sales and marketing strategies,
valuation appraisals, repossessions, legal workout
preparation and documentation for the sale of aircraft.
Larry joined the sales force of Texas Piper in 1996
at their original Austin office location and
is currently the Regional Sales Manager representing
New Piper
products
in the northern half of the state of Texas.
Larry helped to open the regional office for Texas
Piper
Sales, North
and is now based at Collin County Regional Airport in McKinney, TX (TKI) convieniently serving the North Dallas / Richardson / Plano corridor. Texas Piper North Authorized Aircraft Service is still convieniently located at Dallas Executive Airport (RBD). |
